Club description

Scotland the home of golf. As Turnberry is to Ayrshire and Gleneagles is to Perthshire, Castle Stuart has been conceived to be for the Highlands – a beacon reaching out to golfers throughout the world.

The centrepiece for this destination golf resort will be Castle Stuart Golf Links, a championship links course overlooking the Moray Firth and well-known landmarks that are synonymous with Inverness and the Black Isle - Kessock bridge and Chanonry Lighthouse perhaps the most notable.

The resort will include a small luxury Hotel & Spa, 'resort-ownership' Lodges & Apartments, plus a second Seaside Course. Hole #11 - 144 yards par 3

First get the negatives out of the way. Long and left is not good. Nor is long and right. So for those low handcappers, don't go over the top or push your shot. Toy won't like the result. For those of us average players, short and right is a very mangeable recovery area. Putting up and through greenside contours will yield many a par. Maybe this "shorty" is a wee bit harder for the better players thean the rest of us.

 Hole #16 - 335 yards par 4

A drivable par 4 where birdies will abound. Having a go at it isn't a bad idea. Something disasterous can happen but it's not likely.
